The top hat was the status symbol of the 19th century gentleman and flourished in the 1930's when Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich and others bought it back into favour with new motion pictures.

These fabulous top hats continue to be produced in the traditional methods, using melusine hoods.

This hat has a crown height of 5 1/4".
